Today was a first for me. I cleaned windows for a nice couple in Gold Canyon, AZ. I have been to Gold Canyon a number of times, but never to clean windows.
To the best of my recollection, Gold Canyon was formed in the mid ’80′s. I remember driving out there years ago and it seemed so far away! Today, it’s just a quick drive out US 60 until you’re just East of Apache Junction.
The particular house I was at today was a one story single-family residence with sun screens on almost all of the windows. The couple that live there were getting their house ready to sell and their Realtor wisely advised them to have their windows professionally cleaned to assist in a quick sale of their house. And that is where I came in!
Brad, from Clearly Professional Window Cleaning, provided my ‘Premium Window Cleaning Package’ for this house. The Premium package is my most popular package. With it I clean the outside windows, screens (whether they are bug screens or sun screens) and the inside windows with a quick wipe down of the tracks and sills.
The particular Realtor also wisely recommended to the home sellers that they remove a number of their sun screens to enhance the view out their windows. Sun screens are great for cooling and shading a house, but they can obstruct your view and also overly darken your house. Some people really like this, but when staging a house for sale it is wise to let in as much light as possible.
Cleaning the windows and screens at this house took a long time, but it was made enjoyable by the view of the Superstition Mountains, just to the East.
