The Arcadia Neighborhood in Phoenix, Arizona has some of the most beautiful and unique homes in the Phoenix metropolitan area!
Growing up just a few miles away in South Scottsdale, I always enjoyed driving through the Arcadia neighborhood for one reason or another. And now, as the owner of Clearly Professional Window Cleaning I have the wonderful opportunity to clean the windows at some these houses!
This neighborhood is characterized by mid-century modern homes, custom homes with a wide variety of styles from coastal New England with french panes to bungalows to midwest style farmhouses.
The thing I really like about the Arcadia neighborhood in Phoenix, Arizona is the pride of ownership that people take in their homes. Most of these homes have been improved in one way or another. Whether it’s a fresh coat of paint or a major addition. Some homes have even been demolished and new ones rebuilt in their place.
Because the Arcadia neighborhood is just East of Central Phoenix, it is a great location for commuting and getting to the many shopping and cultural locations in Phoenix and Scottsdale.
Many of the homes in this neighborhood have true french pane windows. If you haven’t heard of this type of window it is characterized as being a ‘true divided’ window.
With a french pane window you really have multiple very small windows that make up one larger window (see above picture). Because of this, when cleaning french pane windows you are really cleaning many, many small windows. Not only is this time consuming, but there is more opportunity for mistakes such as streaks or marks from improper detailing.
Fortunately, Clearly Professional Window Cleaning has invested in the latest window cleaning technology available.
‘Water-fed Pole’ window cleaning or ‘Pure Water’ window cleaning is a technology that was first used for window cleaning in the 1960′s. However, it has only become viable for smaller window cleaning companies within the last 3-5 years.
As you can see in the picture above, a brush on the end of a pole is used to clean the window. Purified, de-ionized water is used to clean and then rinse the window to a spot free finish. Not only is this method of window cleaner more efficient for french panes (and most other windows) it is also safer for the window cleaner (me) and your home. There is typically no reason to climb a ladder or walk on your roof when using this new technology.
