Recently I cleaned the windows at a beautiful home in Paradise Valley, Arizona. This one story house had about 65 windows, which is pretty common for a large home, but there were well over 600 panes of glass! Each pane had to be squeegeed separately and then detailed separately; first on the outside and then on the inside! It made for a long day of window washing, but that’s what cleaning divided light windows is all about.
I’ve seen a lot of unique features at houses in Scottsdale and Paradise Valley, Arizona. But this particular house had a feature I had never seen before. The main house has a three car garage; nothing spectacular there. The casita has a two car garage; no big deal.
But then there is another two car garage. Maybe you’re wondering what the big deal is with that. Normally it’s not. But at this property there was no more space to add a stand alone two car garage because there is a natural dry wash that runs through the property. So the owner built a bridge/garage over it!
I really don’t enjoy cleaning french panes, simply because they are so much work. But I have to admit they look beautiful on the right house. This bathroom detail is just gorgeous with how the soaking tub is illuminated by the french pane windows and doors that open onto a private patio.
Here is another picture from inside the master bedroom of the clean windows.

You can’t buy happiness . . . but you can buy clean windows . . . and that is pretty close!
